Blur

Blur is the daily prompt, and honestly it really resonates with me. I feel like a blur, most of the time. Going so fast that I can’t even catch myself, running as hard as I can for the end of the shift, when please God everything will be done. The meds will be given, the treatments done, most of the notes written. Just go. Worry about the rest of it later.

It’s about how fast you are, which isn’t really consistent with excellent patient care. But with the number of things you’ve got to get done in a shift, how else can you do it?

I give up.
